Learn who we are
Adventists believe a Trinity of three persons–the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit–make up one God. They made salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father’s will.
Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as their only creed and hold certain fundamental beliefs to be the teaching of the Holy Scriptures. These beliefs, as set forth here, constitute the church’s understanding and expression of the teaching of Scripture.
The Seventh-day Adventist Church has had a presence in the Placerville area since 1874 and became a recognized church here in 1893. Since then, we’ve enjoyed well over a century of growth and change. We are grateful that you are part of our ever growing story!
What we do?
We have an organization run entirely by volunteers, Community Services is here to help families in our community who have immediate, temporary needs for such things as food, clothing and household goods. Under the leadership of Charlene Williams, a team of 20–30 volunteers…
WE ALL KNOW
THAT A CHURCH
IS NOT A BUILDING.
